Curtains were drawn on the 26th edition of the Luigi Nono International Chamber Music Competition by Amici per la Musica APS. Due to the excellent level of talent and skill shown by the participants, the jury's choice was not an easy one.
The winners are:


Soloists section:

3° Kamil Mukhamedtinov (Russia), cello;
2° Ekaterina Boniushkina (Russia), piano;
1° Hinako Inoue (Japan), piano.


Per la categoria musica da camera:

3° Duo Andersson (Lithuania): Julija - violin - and Paulius Andersson - piano;
2° Trio Chimera (Italy): Stefano Raccagni (violin), Giorgio Lucchini (cello), Marta Ceretta (piano);
1° Trio Sheliak (Italy): Emanuele Brilli (violin), Matilde Michelozzi (cello), Sergio Costa (piano).

Trio Sheliak also won the Contemporary Music Prize, for performing a piece composed after 1950.
Oswald Huynh was also announced as the winner of the Composition Prize.
